Answer to question 1: Yes it is true a good majority of the population of Night Fall are Bat Ponies but other species such as Zebras, Griffons, Dragons, the other three pony tribes, etc live there as well. Answer to question 2: Yes they do have other sources of income, the other provinces each specialize in those other areas. For example Brurus is the chief province who deals in mining of the land and the forging of weapons and other steelworks and Hoscar has a thriving meat industry. Okay, thanks. In terms of technology, will it be based off of what they show in the My Little Pony episodes? Regarding whether the characters be anthro or regular ponies, I'm fine with either, but if I had to choose one, I say regular ponies. We're more advanced in terms of tech.

I would say that the level of technology is more advanced than the rest of Equestria. And I think it would be cool if it was based off of a different type of energy source like steam. But what do you guys think?

But what do you guys think? What do you mean by "more advanced"? How far are we taking the technology? I know battleships were mentioned earlier, so I'll use them as an example. What would there primary source of propulsion be? Giant cloth sails? A coal-fired steam engine? Gasoline/diesel internal combustion engines? I like the idea of using steam engines/power. It's somewhat advanced in terms of technology, but it doesn't make this place unrealistically advanced.

I mean that everything would be powered by steam, and maybe we could be more advanced in terms of weapons, like having steampunk suits of moving armor (like Gundams). And flying ships that operate on steam. Feel free to add any ideas onto this.

Hey guys, just a friendly reminder. Anyone who needs to post their character, remember to post it in the thread here: magicmetalislandrp.proboards.com/thread/131/create-characterI will be posting the official gaming board up for this soon so we can start playing. I will post the link for it up when I make it.

However, I think having the mobile suits of armor is taking things a little too far. Also, after looking at the official game thread, do we really need to quote the previous person's post whenever we post something? Seems like that'll make the thread become very cluttered.

You don't have to quote each post in the game. It was just something that we did to begin with.

You don't have to quote each post in the game. It was just something that we did to begin with. Okay, I was just curious. I think I may pass on this role play. I was kind of hoping that it would be like a turn based D&D campaign where everyone participating takes turns, but instead it looks like it's free for all. That was how the last site I used to role play on did there role play threads. The majority of the time a handful of people would get on and post up a storm, then when I got a chance to get on, I would have over hundred or so posts to catch up on.

This is a turn based game though. If you see the posts on the board, everyone has pretty much taken their turn. :/ But it is up to you. It's cool either way.

I don't think that would be a problem on this site since it doesn't have as many active members as the last role play forum I was a part of. I was meaning turn based as in, say there's four people participating in a thread. Persons A, B, and C couldn't go until person D had posted. Once person D posted something, then person A could go, then person B, then C. Of course, this method would require a time limit in which a person could post to prevent one person from holding up the entire thread.

I always try to run my games so everyone gets a turn.
